Implementing Aprimo FINRA Electronic Recordkeeping Solution

Dean Brown • Aug 26, 2021

The world of financial services has seen dramatic changes in recent years. As a result, the customer experience is a focal point now for more than marketing strategies.

Yet, so much has become automated, consumers rarely deal with businesses face to face. In fact, the top priority for 75% of bankers worldwide was digital banking solutions. Improving customer experience and cutting costs were second and third.

AI business solutions allow a small business to compete on a level playing field. With applications like the Aprimo tool, customers are experiencing equal levels of services. Beyond that, the same SaaS is making compliance a better recordkeeping choice.

So, if you'd like to learn more about how the Aprimo tool can affect your workflow process, keep reading. Let's begin with the challenges that have brought new business solutions to light.

The Cost of Compliance Reporting

Protecting investors has always been the key role of FINRA. But, as investing online grew, so too did the challenges of reporting compliance. Recordkeeping grew more complicated with each step.

Many companies are copying and pasting their data to web-based forms for regulators. So, human error is a real possibility. In addition, getting approval for marketing material is far more time-consuming with these issues.

Also, manual transfer of work by team members is a costly procedure. The employee's time is better spent with more productive activities.

Designed to speed up legal workflow automation, the Aprimo tool can help save your business time. It's a system of record business solution that also produces financial savings for clients. There is one other feature that comes with this automated workflow process.

There are shorter wait times for FINRA approvals. Both of these aspects give businesses a bigger advantage and faster speed to market. But, with our Aprimo consulting experience we can help your business do even more.

API Workflow Functions

User functionality is a big issue with non-integrated systems. The flow between screens becomes a clunky affair. In addition, customizing different software integrations are expensive.

Yet, with an Aprimo tool, clicks between pages can be reduced to a single task screen. Also, what would have taken fifteen clicks is now down to two. Whatever the user is searching for is now only seconds away.

A user interface that works for every department is a happier work environment. The added APIs accounting and business consulting users like a leaner operation.

So, now the employees are working faster with more efficiency and less chance of error. The last piece of the puzzle is the backend workflow process. Our Aprimo consulting expertise has solutions for this as well.

The Silver Lining

One of the most difficult transitions for any business is the move from physical to virtual. Physical space is costly, whether on-premises or outsourced. Movement between physical spaces is also expensive.

When companies use internal mailing systems, the element of error goes up. In addition, physical mail can get lost or destroyed in transit. And, there's an environmental cost to using conventional correspondence.

Delays in package arrivals are another time loss element. Mail services between locations come with more costs. Then, there's the matter of storage for all that material.

Warehouse space is another expense, and it must have an orderly system. Papers not kept in order with recorded file locations can make accounting difficult. Each of these processes has labor costs, too.

The Aprimo tool eliminates the paper trail with cloud storage that everyone can use. The secured data is accessible to every department, improving relationships between them. And, with the Aprimo tool set up with the right storage, it all remains WORM compliant.

This is a feature that opens up new possibilities across all channels. For example, marketing and accounting departments can discuss projects in real-time. With a simple search, anyone on board can see where a project is and where it began.

More Aprimo Tool Advantages

As with any boxed version of SaaS, there are limitations. For example, legal workflow automation software may be functioning, but other features don't connect.

When users get frustrated by slow connections to other programs, productivity suffers. But so does morale. So, what's the solution?

The cloud-based Aprimo tool answers all these questions combined. The cost savings of moving away from an internal system alone is significant. The time saved cannot be ignored.

Users enjoy the integrated functions that the Aprimo tool offers. As a result, productivity soars, and time waste goes down. Most of all, smoother running systems give the customer confidence in your operation.

For marketing teams, campaigns get regulatory approval faster. That's because everything is coming from a single location. The workflow process streamlines as well, eliminating needless email chatter.

Scalable business solutions can only occur with workflow efficiency. The speed of commerce accelerates daily. Yet, in financial services, regulation compliance is king.

Both functions work in harmony with legal workflow automation software that delivers. You don't have to imagine a marketing platform that moves with today's business. It's already here.

The Better Business Solution

Businesses that succeed are the ones that adapt to changing environments. But, unfortunately, there is less time than ever for those changes to occur.

A single API with no adaptability is a drain on the workflow process. But, with help from Aprimo consulting, your business can begin to move faster and leaner. The workflow process has evolved to give small business the edge it needs.

So, if you would like to have a free Aprimo tool consultation, connect with us today. You're not only one step away from faster FINRA compliance. You're that much closer to a bigger market share.

IT leaders are in a strong position after digital initiatives saved many businesses. But now, what businesses are asking for is evolving again. Digital Transformation has helped companies become more flexible and resilient in the face of worldwide recession, leaving the more digitally mature among them better placed to prosper in the post-pandemic era . After years of being promoted, piloted and implemented with varying degrees of urgency and success in organizations, digital transformation enabled a rapid pivot to remote working and put the digitization of business processes, including customer and employee experience ( CX and EX ), to a serious stress test. In its IT Spending & Staffing Benchmarks 2021/22 report, market research firm Computer Economics described technology's role in the rapid recovery from the pandemic as "nothing short of a miracle". Digital transformation passed the test, it seems. Going forward, Computer Economics suggested that the "low-hanging fruit" in cloud migration is now picked and that "We are now in the stage of digital transformation where we are not just replacing existing tools -- we are now enhancing them." In this article we'll examine where digital transformation is likely to go next. What the analysts say ... Towards the end of 2020, in the grip of the pandemic and with vaccine deployment still to come, IDC published its predictions for digital transformation (DX) for 2021 and beyond. The headline prediction was that direct DX investment will total over $6.8 trillion between 2020 and 2023 -- a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.5%. IDC says that that translates into nearly two-thirds (65%) of global GDP being digitalized by 2022. By 'digitalized', the analyst firm means "the inherent value that digital brings to existing products and additional digital services that companies might offer," explained Bob Parker, senior vice president at IDC, in an accompanying webcast . "This is why digital transformation is really a CEO priority -- more so than a CIO priority," Parker added.
Agile arranged post it notes on a desk

In software development , agile (sometimes written Agile) is a set of practices intended to improve the effectiveness of software development professionals, teams, and organizations. It involves discovering requirements and developing solutions through the collaborative effort of self-organizing and cross-functional teams and their customer(s) / end user(s) . It advocates adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery, and continual improvement , and it encourages flexible responses to changes in requirements, resource availability, and understanding of the problems to be solved. It was popularized by the 2001 Manifesto for Agile Software Development . The values and principles exposed in this manifesto were derived from and underpin a broad range of software development frameworks , including Scrum and Kanban . While there is much anecdotal evidence that adopting agile practices and values improves the effectiveness of software professionals, teams and organizations, the empirical evidence is mixed and hard to find.
